This is a an example of a multiple image by Paul M Smith. It is part of a series calles 'This is not Pornography'. It plays on sex and gender and forces us to asks questions about the characters in photograph. We ask questions such as, what is the man doing and what does he see in the mirror? Who is the woman in the reflection? The fact that the models are exposing a lot of skin, gives the image a raw quality and plays on people prudishness.
I chose this image because I feel this is one of Smith's most obvious examples of multiple imagery and I feel it is important that to note that is part of a series and the images, in my opinion, are more powerful when viewed as a series.
